Dear receptionist at the Healthway clinic below our block,

I went to your clinic with my maid for her initial medical check up for her work permit.  So being her employer, I approach you to make the inquiries on her behalf.  I then gave you her passport which is required to be presented so that you can make sure that the person giving you samples of her body fluids is indeed the person whose name is on the paper.

But it seems you have missed this part and assumed that I was the maid going for the check up.  I don’t blame you since I didn’t bother to put on make-up and I didn’t think I need to wear jewellery to get good service – after all, the clinic is just below our block beside the kopitiam.  I was dressed decently though out of courtesy for the clinic.  I just hoped you would have shown the same to me.  But since you already assumed I was the maid, you weren’t so courteous to me as you were to the few other patients in the clinic.

Had you just peeked at the passport, then you would have realized that I was the person giving you business and I can go online and rant about you.  I was there at your clinic a few weeks ago and paid S$500 bucks for my son’s immunizations and I was there a couple of days ago for S$40+ worth of my own check-up.  Today, I went there for S$60 worth of my maid’s medical check-up.  I would continue to go there since the doctors seem competent but if you don’t want my business, then I can arrange for that easy.  If you want a bitch fight, I can arrange for that too.

I thought about giving you a piece of my mind right there but decided against it since I didn’t want to make a big deal out of it.  But the next time I get bitch vibes from you, I’m gonna show you who’s queen B.
