I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later that swine flu hits the Philippines. I just hope that the Department of Health is prepared enough to tackle the virus and keep it from spreading and that people at risk of contracting the virus are responsible enough to quarantine themselves until they are 100% sure they are free of the virus.
The first swine flu case is a 10-year old girl who recently traveled to the U.S. and Canada. She developed the symptoms a day after her arrival. Fortunately, her fever is gone.
I wonder if any of the passengers in the same flight as hers are being monitored as well.
