For Nike Golf fans like hubby, there’s a new Nike Golf store in Kaki Bukit – and it’s quite big.  They have more selections and they also carry the Tiger Woods Platinum and the Nike Junior line.

What’s even better is that they have an in-store virtual golf swing simulator/analyzer so customers can try out the clubs before buying.  Most stores only have this room with a net where you can try out the clubs.  The simulator lets you hit a ball into a screen and once your ball hits the screen it will display a simulated flight of your ball path and some information about your golf swing.

We went there today to check it out and much to our pleasant surprise we saw George, our favorite sales guy who is now a branch manager.  I would think favorite and sales guy are rarely used together in one sentence.  We used to buy hubby’s golf stuff at this other shop that sells Nike where George used to work.  But since he moved, we’ve been holding off plans of buying a new set of irons.

We like him because he’s not like most sales people who as soon as they make eye contact with you, their eyes turn into $$$ signs and prey on you like a vulture.  George, let’s you browse through items at your own pace.  He doesn’t hard sell or pressure you to make a purchase but he does give very good advice and he knows his products well.  He makes sales a service so we go home feeling good about a purchase and assured that we got the best bang for our buck.  I hate it when I get home after buying a product from the mall, and realize that I’ve been duped into buying.  I think his style of sales it what makes loyal clients out of us because it’s always a win-win situation.

Nike golf at Enterprise One, 1 #01-12 Kaki Bukit Road 1, is on sale this month up to 70% off.  Needless to say, we went home with a lot of goodies and a new set of Nike slingshot irons and a golf bag.  Christmas came early for hubby this year.
