Edwin just tagged me in his disclosure entry and reading his made me think this is interesting because I found out we had more things in common than I thought.

So here’s 5 things you probably don’t know about me:

1. I also got scared of the movie Snow White. But unlike Edwin, the scene I got scared of was when she got lost in the Forest and was being hunted for her heart. I was also scared of the Snow White ride in Disneyland, and I was already 20+ when I first took a ride. It felt like a horror ride to me. But then again the story of Alice in Wonderland also scares me.
2. I can eat alone - at home or in a restaurant. Something most people I know can’t do.
3. Whenever I’m in an airplane and it’s night time, I gaze out the window and look at the stars. I cover my head and the window with a blanket and use it to shield the reflection of the light from inside the plane. I look stupid but it’s like going into another world. I’m fascinated at the thought that I am closer to the stars than I’ll ever be.
4. When I was still in the Philippines, (like Eds) I haven’t been watching local channels since maybe after college. I don’t think our local channels provide any substance or value anymore. And I think they’re partly to blame why our country is not progressing. ABS vs GMA? Puh-leese. Their executives clearly haven’t read the Art of War’s take on Military strategy.
5. I’m an environmentalist. When I was in grade school, most of my exam essays were about natural conservation. I like Hayao Miyazaki’s works for its environmental theme. I have a softer heart for plants and animals than people because plants and animals are helpless and only rely on primal instinct while people, they always have a choice most just don’t make the right ones. And these days, you can never tell who has a hidden agenda. (Yes disclosure #6 - I’m a cynic.)
