We got our PR on 2008. I don't exactly get the question of through marriage or employment. We applied for the PR together. My husband was employed and I was married to him. :)

Hi Saleh,

You can book an appointment immediately as soon as you log in the site. Once you're logged in, you'll be able to choose which day/slot you prefer to have the appointment. You can also see which days/slots are already full.

Hi,
My LPR application has been granted and I was told to book an appointment with the eappointment system. Could you please let me know that on the average how many days it takes to book an appointment? I mean if I log on today to book an appointment what could be the earliest time (like 2 days, 7 days or more?) that I can get an appointment slot?

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Best,
Saleh

Hi,

Can you please let me know if Employment Pass is one of the pre requistie to complete PR formalities? If PR is approved but the applicant has lost job, left singapore, no longer holding valid employment pass, can he re-enter singapore on visit pass and complete the PR formalities?

Regards
Naveen

Hi Cathy,

Sorry if my reply is a bit late.

When we got the notice for PR approval, the letter instructed us to sign up for a slot online which I did. Then since we already knew which time slot we're on, we just had to go during that slot we picked. No need to get in line on that day. We were able to finish the formalities within the day.

Re entry permit is for 5 years. As for the card, we picked it up at the ICA a couple of days after.

Are you doing the formalities this end of October? or are you just starting your application?

When we applied for PR we had to bring all the requirements that was stated in the form at the ICA. It's best to get there really early for PR application because you have to take a queue number. We got the letter of approval after 3 months.

Good luck! :)
