I was there during last year’s GSS and was able to buy a couple of gadgets. Had a really bad experience with some of the tenants at Lucky Plaza though. Man those folks are nasty. I kept thinking that a lot of bad things could happen to them if they happen to be doing business in Manila.

Hehe After a couple of bad experiences myself. I would rather buy at Funan Digital Mall than in Lucky Plaza. The price difference is minimal but you’re sure you’re not being swindled.

At Lucky Plaza, they usually give you an incredulously low price, then when you take the bait, they tell you it doesn’t come with the standard accessories and that you will buy them separately. Sometimes, after you’ve agreed to the price, they’d suddenly tell you that the price is exclusive of GST and have to add 7% tax. In the end, it will actually cost you more.

So before going to Lucky Plaza (or Sim Lim) it’s always best to have done your research. You should more or less know that a standard pack should include and the price range.
