Yesterday, I was planning on cooking pumpkin soup for dinner but pumpkin soup needs to be simmered for some time so that the pumpkin would be soft enough to puree. At the same time I had to go back to the mall and have the shirts I recently bought for my dad changed to a size S from M.
I don’t like cooking things ahead of time because I don’t particularly like eating reheated food. So I’m pretty rigid when it comes to cooking schedules to make sure the food is cooked just in time. I was thinking if only I could leave the house and keep the stove on, but of course, that would be stupid!

Good thing I remembered our Endo Thermal Magic cooker that we got free from a Carrefour promo last year. It was still in the box unopened waiting for it’s fate. So I decided to finally give it a try yesterday. The box said all you had to do was let the food boil on top of the stove for about 10 minutes then put in inside the thermal cooker then cover. It will continue cooking for hours. Your food won’t burn and it won’t dry up. The best thing is it doesn’t need attention and it saves on gas.
So that’s what I did. I was able to leave the house while the soup was cooking. I returned home after an hour and the soup was cooked. All I had to do was stick in my hand held blender and puree away. Even hours after dinner, I found that the soup leftover in the cooker was still hot.
The Endo Thermal Magic cooker is actually convenient and handy. I’m wondering why I didn’t try it sooner.
Now I’m thinking of cooking other soups, and stews with it.
Isn’t in fantastic when products actually work, specially when you got them for free.
