Pinoy in Singapore

Tomorrow, November 1 marks the first day of the 2007 Barclays Singapore Open at the Sentosa Golf Club.  It’s a chance for golf lovers like Mr. Tsiken and golf newbies like me to watch how the pros and the up and coming players play the sport.  Big names like Phil Mickelson (leftie like me), Ernie Els, Vijay Singh, and returning champion Adam Scott among others will be there.  Too bad that Tiger Woods wouldn’t be playing.  If he was, we would have bought tickets for all four days, but he’s not so just the first day is good enough for us.  But our very own Frankie Miñoza and Juvic Pagunsan will be there.  We will surely cheer for them! 

Tee off is at 7:30 AM (too early for my bio clock but for the love of the game…) and the tournament will be telecast live on ESPN Star Sports.
