How to take the MRT from the Changi Airport

October 22nd, 2007 · No Comments

For backpackers and budget travelers who find that taking a taxi from the airport to the city is not part of their budget, they can always take the MRT from the Changi Airport.  Those arriving at the Budget Terminal can ask for the free shuttle service to Changi’s Terminal 2 to get to the MRT.

To see how much you need to pay from Changi Station to your destination station check it out here.

Important Note:  You will need to alight at the Tanah Merah Interchange and transfer trains going to the either ends of the mrt line depending on where you’re going.  (Pasir Ris or Boon Lay Direction). If you’re arriving by Cebu Pacific, chances are the MRT is closed by then.
