Esplanadeunder the bridge

The Merlion is Singapore’s national mascot symbol. It can be seen both at Sentosa and by the Esplanade park. Probably every pinoy on friendster who’s ever been to Singapore and posted their pic has this shot with the Merlion behind them. So don’t forget to take that classic shot when you get there.

Beside the Esplanade Theatre is hawker centre where we eat good local food like black pepper crabs, fried baby squid, cereal prawns etc.  Sight-seeing is free but make sure to wear your most comfy shoes as you’ll be doing lots of walking.

The station nearest this area would be the City Hall station (green line).
